Dead Moll's Fingers

Dead Moll's Fingers fungus (Xylaria longipes) growing on rotting bough of a deciduous tree in the National Trust's Longshaw Estate in the Derbyshire Peak District. A thicker, more bulbous variety of this fungus is known as "Dead Man's Fingers".
